- Steven Yearsley is both the President of the Board of the Tuscany HOA and is the President of the City of Meridian Planning Commission
- Doug Mabe is both the Secretary of the Board of the Tuscany HOA and is employed by Albertsons
- David Smith is a Vice President of the Board of the Tuscany HOA and a personal friend of Kent Goldthorpe, the President of the ACHD Commission & District #4 Representative
- To our knowledge no other major retail center in Meridian and/or the Treasure Valley allowed the developer to convert an existing residential street into a major thoroughfare that will be used by hundreds of cars daily. Not one other Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart, Winco’s, Lowe’s, Home Depot’s etc. have been built this way even though most, if not all, are surrounded by residential neighborhoods.
- To our knowledge no other major retail center, with a grocery store, in Meridian and/or the Treasure Valley is located at an intersection so close to a traffic circle
- The section of E. Mount Etna proposed from S. Eagle Road to Montague Way and continuing to the bend near S. Maesaia Way will be mostly into the sun, the most dangerous driving conditions for drivers and pedestrians:
- In the morning (7:30am) during March, April, August and September
- In the evening (5:30pm) during May, June and July
