I can’t begin to tell you how happy and proud I was to be a member of this community watching everyone get up and address the Commissioners at both Public Hearings. It’s obvious that you all care deeply for your children, your neighbors and this community and are willing to fight to keep things from negatively impacting what you believe in. We all went out in the snow and ice for the ACHD hearing only to be lectured on accepting change, as if we were children. We were then willing to show up the next night at the City P & D hearing to do it all over again. That says a lot about the character of our residents. Thank you for your support in this effort.
We still have the City Council meeting on January 17th, where we can once again voice our opinions. If we learned anything from the ACHD meeting, it’s that we can’t assume what we have going into the meeting is what we will have at the end. We need to fight hard to keep what we have and hopefully increase some of the concessions we can get from the developer. Again, Thank You!

Hopefully this website and blog will help to improve communication among the residents of Tuscany concerning the proposed Firenze Plaza and the efforts being made by many of us to modify that proposal. Categories
