One of the downsides of having the access road moved from connecting at Santo Stefano to midway between Santo Stefano and Mount Etna is the loss of stop signs on Montague at Santo Stefano. By having ACHD relocate this intersection, we lost a traffic control to slow the Montague traffic down. The ACHD commissioners took this action on their own initiative. I do know there was support from some Santo Stefano residents to relocate the intersection, which I can hardly blame them for, as we were all trying to do the same with our streets. It’s just as I look back at it now, I don’t know if the stop signs would have been worth keeping the alignment with Santo Stefano, or are we better off with the new alignment?

Hopefully this website and blog will help to improve communication among the residents of Tuscany concerning the proposed Firenze Plaza and the efforts being made by many of us to modify that proposal. Categories
